Description: This is a vintage felt pennant from Rochester NY It is a full sized pennant. It measures 30" total length including the fringe and is approx 8 1/2 " wide. Buildings: Masonic Temple ( which was built in 1928, and is now the Auditorium Theatre)Driving Park Ave Bridge Genesee River gorgeNew College of Arts and Science Univ of Rochester (which was built/dedicated in 1930) Overall, this is a nice pennant. The felt is good. The lettering is crisp. The color on the buildings is still vibrant. It does have some issues. There are holes from thumbtacks in the point and top and bottom of the band (see pics). The white lettering isnt really white anymore. There is fading on the back. The fringe is discolored. Please see pics. I believe that the date on this is 1930/31. From the research I did, the River campus was built in the late 20's and dedicated in 1930, so if they are calling it "new" than it would logically follow that it was within a few years of that. I'm selling this for a church that I volunteer at - it was donated to support their many programs. ( I can't include a link, since Ebay wont allow me, but you can google Blessed Sacrament Supper program Rochester ny) all the other pennants from this same person run from about the 1910's to early 1940's If you are local to Rochester, I would also be willing to meet for delivery. Please LMK before purchasing. Please feel free to request more pictures or ask questions before purchasing. Thank you for looking!
