This Rolex has an amazing story...we purchased this Rolex as a yellow gold model. Once we began polishing the watch, we noticed that it was actually a rose gold model...not yellow gold...which is very rare. It seems that a previous owner had plated their rose gold model in yellow gold...the only thing we can think of is that they did not want the watch to be rose gold anymore and then took it into a jeweler to have it yellow gold plated. The good news is that we just had to remove the yellow gold plating and restore the case, band and bezel back to its original glory. The watch had the rose gold crown, rose gold hands and proper date wheels for a rose gold model.
