Description: This vintage soldier's scrapbook has a nautical themed cover, three pages of assorted ephemera as well as a handmade label on the front cover with the owner's name "R.H. Steinhoff." Two of these pages are detached from the book. Ephemera includes a photographs of the U.S.S. Spangenberg, a street scene in Algiers, naval ship in the port of Taranto, Italy, and a snapshot taken in 1942 of five soldiers taken at Camp Smith with handwritten notation with names and ranks:A Company 12th Regt 2nd Platoon, 5th Squad, Corp Strayer, Pvt. Steinhoff, Clarke, W Grant, Steinman. Ephemera also includes an unused postcard from Sam Lampe's Sportsman Bar in Baltimore, Maryland, and a ticket stub from a French boxing match held on August 23, 1947.
