Description: This is a very nice brass scale. All the pieces are included.The weights measure from 5 gram to 20 gram.This was one that a druggist would carry with him to help him prepare medicines for their patients.The merchant would use this to help sell smaller weighted items as well. IT is a piece of history. Pretty piece and working well. The box itself is very nicely decorated with brass on the outside and inside. Please view the pictures. I do not have a date on this but I would think the early part of the 20th century.
