For your consideration, I am offering one, Vintage Sony Walkman ANALOG AM/FM Radio Band with Cassette Player. COLOR: BLACK. MODEL: WM-FX315. The Walkman was manufactured in Malaysia circa: 1990. Included in the auction is as follows: The Base Unit and Battery Box Cover. NOTE: I do not have the Original Retailer Box or any of the associated Paperwork. The unit is Authentic (OEM) product from the original manufacturer; not a cheap after market reproduction or been refurbished previously. The item is being sold as Very Good (USED) cosmetic condition with no missing or broken pieces; looks moderately used previously. I found the unit by itself in current condition a box of items I purchased at an Estate Sale and is very clean. I have no want, need or desire to retain this Walkman and didn't wish to discard it. I figure someone must need this rare quality item either for parts or repair or for their collection. The base unit is made of durable plastic. There is no damage to the plastic outer casing such as any, cracks, holes, deep scratches, major scuffing, writing, heavy oxidation, or any discoloration. NOTE: The front and backside of the base unit will show very minor shelf wear due to age and prior usage. NOTE: The battery box will show very minor signs of light metal corrosion on one of the metal contacts that does not hinder any future uses. The Battery Box Cover stays firmly affixed to the unit. PLEASE NOTE: The Cassette Player mechanism does work. However, the rubber belt that drive the cassette player gears will more than likely need to be replaced to work properly again. The AM-FM Radio does work perfectly with no issues. All buttons show no damage or heavy wear and tear and was recently bench tested and they should work perfectly. The Cassette Player is not part of any guarantees but the Analog radio unit is guaranteed to work perfectly. The unit was recently inspected for damage and will show signs of moderate usage. I am selling the unit for parts only and AS-IS NO RETURNS. If the Walkman is not exactly as described in this auction the Walkman may be returned only through ebay policy and guarantee.
