Description: This fun little brooch resembles wirework but actually appears to have been stamped out of a sheet of sterling silver. This brooch features the outline of a roadrunner, a popular motif in Southwest US and Mexican art that represents speed, bravery, and endurance. Because of the openwork design, the stamps on the back are hard to read, but you can see that one toe was marked Mexico. The 925 mark is missing but the piece tested as 925 sterling. Also because of the design, the pin on the back is at a wonky angle, but it closes securely. The pin itself is sharp and straight. Total weight about 4 grams. The brooch is 2 inches long and about 1 1/2 inches wide. Thanks for looking. 2409042
