Description: Vintage Structo Log Hauler Semi Tractor Trailer Truck Pressed Steel. This thing is absolutely gorgeous. One of my most favorite pieces that I’ve ever owned and I have owned many. As always, please take a look at all pictures to have a better understanding of the condition. Something very rare to find on these little trucks considering how hard they were more than likely played with is the passenger and driver side mirrors, and the two “working” windshield wipers. Windshield is an another thing with toy trucks of this age. That condition is typically not as nice as this. This windshield is close to like new condition outside of some very minor scratches just in front of the passenger side window. Mechanically one of the coolest features on this little truck is the chassis independent rear axles. All four wheels are built to be on the ground at all times. If the trailer is climbing over a rock or log, one side of the trailer doesn’t tip. It also has a working fifth wheel. These mechanical features allows the trailer to stay flat. To think about adding that kind of feature to this truck during the timeframe it was built once again simply shows you how well toys were built then versus now. All axles and wheels turn straight and freely. You will be hard pressed find any scratches on the cab. The trucks only negative that I can see is that it is missing the horn on top of the cab above the driver side. The truck from front to rear chassis wheels measures approximately 23 1/2 inches long. It stands approximately 5 1/8 inches tall and is 5 1/2 inches wide. All five logs do you have some extremely minor marks. What addition this would be to any collection.
