Description: This vintage TAIL Tennis Sleeveless Off-White & Aqua dress is in EXCELLENT condition. It was made by Tail. It is a VINTAGE size 13/14 = about a modern day women’s Size 6 (see measurements below). I was having trouble finding out exactly when it was made. It is certainly MCM. I am guesstimating it was made in the 1960s or early 70s. It is well-constructed and beautifully stitched. MATERIAL NOTE: I have been asked about the material of this dress. Unfortunately, there is/is no longer a tag inside. So I would guess (and I am not an expert on materials) that it’s some sort of poly/cotton blend. DRESS FEATURES: -mother of pearl buttons (all are intact and well-sewn on) -no need to button/unbutton because there is a ZIPPER behind the buttons -dry cleaned after its last wear -waist can be made smaller (by 7”) by cinching the belt in the back MEASUREMENTS -chest: 30” -waist (measured flat): 30” -length: 29.5” NOTES: *You may want to put in a stitch across from the eye hook at the top of the zipper. (That is, if you want to use the hook.) * There is some staining at the very top of the straps (where it sits on the shoulder). (See the last pic.)
