The tilting mechanism sometimes gives way to the weight of the blade head guard and drops down. Has only happened for me while handling the fan. The face plate in the fan guard is cracked and moves. Fan was tested over a week and 2 or 3 times (depending on the angle up or down of the fan) that face plate would rub on the blade retaining screw. Fan oscillates great and the stopping knob also works. All speeds work and put out quite a bit of air. Approximately 21” tall , the guard 14”, and blades 11+”
