Description: This early 1950s travel suitcase has a great leather exterior and working closures. The interior is intact. Staining on the satin inside shows the history of this piece. The original key has long since disappeared, but the closures work smoothly and stay completely closed when carrying it. All stitching is in place. Definitely built to last! I did not clean this piece, just dusted and gently wiped the outside with a dry cloth. Length = 13.5” Height = 8.25” This little case took many trips. The owner travelled often out of the famous Santa Fe Train Depot in San Bernardino, Ca during its heyday! She was a Rosie Riveter during WWII and her husband worked for the railroad. We are a non smoking home.
