Description: This vintage Turkmen (Turkoman) necklace was handcrafted during the mid-1900's for the Esari sub-tribe of Turkmenistan along the Old Silk Road of Central Asia. More measurements and general disclaimer are listed after the description. The large, sturdy pendant in the center has the shape of an adamlyk - or stylized female form that celebrates femininity. Slides over the head to wear. It is in excellent, vintage condition, with a warm age-patina and mild wear patterns.
