Description: Here is a hard to find Vintage 1950s Vernon Kilns Sun Garden Pot Pie Baker/Casserole Dish. This pattern was designed by artist Jean Ames. The dish is hand-painted and underglazed and measures approximately 4" in diameter and 2" high. It still has the original sticker in its bottom noting that Vernonware can be used as ovenware, so I do believe this is a new/unused item. It is in excellent condition; the only thing to note are some faint scratches on the bottom (see last photo). The dish was photographed with and without flash. Please read description, look at photos carefully (they serve as part of the description), and ask questions before bidding. You will receive exactly what is pictured in the photos. All items are sold as is, and all sales are final. My items come from a smoke-free home and are packed with care. A note about shipping: I offer a range of shipping options to get you the best price possible. Please be aware that the least expensive options (USPS Parcel Select and USPS Retail Ground) do not include insurance. Please reach out if you'd like to add insurance to your package; otherwise, no potential shipping issues would be covered. USPS Priority Mail includes $50 of insurance. If your item is damaged in transit and package was insured, please take detailed photos and keep the broken item, plus all packing materials, for the insurance claim. The USPS has a new policy designed to prevent fraud, and they will no longer issue refunds without inspecting the damaged item.
