Description: Up for bid are 5 original vintage pre-owned W. Britain -Royal Canadian Mounted Police Lead Figures on Horseback Set 1349. Selling for parts or repair. Found at an estate sale of a toy collector. This grouping of five hand-painted lead alloy toy soldiers by William Britain, Ltd., (FROM SET #1349). Contains 5 Royal Canadian Mounted Police on Horseback. The Mounties right arms are movable. This set consist of Royal Canadian Mounted Police in various conditions with general wear from use and storage. Two horses are missing part of a leg, one is missing its head and two are complete. Found with a W. Britain box, but the box does not belong to this set, but for W. Britain Civil War Confederate Infantry #2060. William Britain, W. Britain or simply Britain's, is synonymous with toy soldiers. Since 1893 W. Britain has been producing toy soldiers and military miniatures with attention to detail, quality and authenticity. Each model figure is cast out of metal and hand painted to the highest possible standards. Great set to add a couple of additional pieces to your collection and use others for parts or repairs.
