The overall size is about 8.75" across. PLEASE NOTE - the lid is loose which is pictured in the listing. I just picked up a small collection of vintage/antique cigar boxes from a local central Pennsylvania estate auction where a museum had liquidated some of its assets to make room for new inventory.
