My knowledge of fishing reels is limited to using them. I have NO experience in reel maintenance, repair or refurbishment. I have done my best to describe the physical condition of this reel below. Whenever possible, I have also offered my comments about the operational condition of this reel. Unless otherwise stated, the Buyer should assume that THIS REEL HAS NOT BEEN FULLY TESTED. This reel has been in storage for several years and will likely require cleaning and lubrication. This reel may also require parts or repairs to perform optimally. Details for this Vintage Reel include: BRAND - Wright & McGill MODEL - 16 Fre-Line TYPE - Sidewinder Spincast Reel COLOR(S) - Red and Silver/Gray COUNTRY OF ORIGIN - Boulder/Denver, Colorado, USA Condition: Pre-Owned/Used in Very Good Condition (7/10). This Vintage Reel shows signs of normal use (scuffs/scratches, finish loss). Exposed metal surfaces show signs of trivial surface rust, but no deep rust or pitting. The plastic (bakelite?) retrieve handle is damaged. The reel body and foot/saddle show no signs of cracks or obvious damage. The retrieve cranks smoothly, but I have not tested any other functions. I'm unfamiliar with this reel type, so I have NOT attempted to open it up to inspect the internals. This reel has NOT been fully tested. This reel has been in storage for several years and will likely require cleaning and lubrication. This reel may also require parts or repairs to perform optimally.
