Description: This is a pair of vintage Marithe Francois Girbaud corduroy pants from the 1980s, that have been cropped and hemmed and turned into shorts, in a size 31. Due to the nature of the original pants, the shorts are incredibly wide-legged and very baggy, almost disproportionately so. These shorts feature all the great details that you'd expect from an MFG garment, such as a the double button closure, the button-closure front pockets, and the logo patch on the fly. The buttons are brass, with embossed and enameled detailing. They are also made of a wide-wale corduroy, which is very soft, a great example of some of the best corduroy out there. The hemming was done by hand, with a somewhat successful hidden stitch, which is unfortunately visible in some small sections. The pants/shorts are tagged as a size 31 and should fit true to size. Check the measurements below before purchasing. Measurements:Waist: 31 in Inseam: 12 in Leg Opening: 14 in Front Rise: 10 in Great vintage condition. Some faint staining on the right leg, especially visible on the inside. No spot cleaning has been attempted. Some brassing on the buttons.
