Description: The set is sold as is, as found, and as you see it. The sale is for a ten piece set of Jas Loutky small marionette puppets, made in Czechoslovakia. The puppets are felt and painted wood and maybe a cloth wrap for legs and arms. The set includes a king, queen, elfin character, witch, devil, boy and girl, lady and man, a green faced character and a man with a cap. The characters have a copper like wire connected to backsides. Its bent at top for the hand to move them around and arms and legs and cloth wrap to allow movement for legs. Arms are made to move some way. The wire tops magnify and are tarnished. The characters have springs in their necks. Elfin boy: head cocked to one side; cannot straighten. Paint chip on red on underside and glue on underside of hat. 3.5". Green man: red spot on left wire near hand and on wood of hand. Green scuffs on red body in front. 5". Brown devil: I thought one shoe was missing and replaced with a black piece but I have seen the same on others so this appears to be how he was made. Some scratches on his body in the black. Chipping area around cloth of right arm into body and the painted hand on top of brown. 4". Blonde boy: head cocked, flaws in white of paint. 3". The witch: lint on skirt. 4.5". Queen: light soiling on pink dress. 5". Lady with hood; 4.5". King: lint on robe. 5". Small hooded girl: crazing on white paint, legs are a bit curled. 3.25". Man with cap: lint on robe, curled over legs. Paint flaws, soiling on felt or cloth, flaws in wood with paint; some will be sideways, curls in arms and legs. 4.5". Box: the bottom of box slides to put into the bigger box with the flaps. Scuffed corners, edges, a long crease on front side. Regular box: scuffed corners, crease areas, tears on two top flaps and a front crease on backside near Jas. Wrinkled yellow tissue paper on bottom of box. The bottom of box has a crease on front side, dirty and soiling, scuffs on outer box on the red on backside and other areas. A 100.00 sticker on front on side. The front will say Jas Loutky and on front foreign writing. The box will have other creases and yellowing inside out, scratches. Underside will have nicks in paper in the red, wear, scratches and age related issues. All dolls have hand painted details. May have dirt in felt and other minor issues.
