Description: Kestner German Glass Googly Eye Doll 16" Cute Red Head. Item specifications: Antique German doll, handmade, all bisque, jointed doll. Possible that this item was made prior to 1940s; possibly an antique? I found an initial at the base of the rear portion of the head, WO. Dimensions: The German Googly Eye doll stands 16" height x 10" width (including dress). Condition and defect: Please note that the doll head has looseness. Although the doll's head can hold a few upright positions, the looseness of the joinery has caused a diminishment of more angled positions. I also noted that on one of the hands appear to be some area of defect. It appears that the condition was caused during the creation process and not post production. Also, I noted that the dolls shoes have glue residue leaking from the sole. Due to the length of the trash, the shoes are not visible when the doll is on display stand. Notwithstanding, the doll appears to be in good condition and is ready to be added to your collection.
