Description: Vintage original U.S. Army Air Corps Officers M-26 overcoat. 4th Army Air Corps patch with Majors oak leave pin on each shoulder. A private purchase coat. Appears to have a name inked on the inside but a little hard to read. There's also a hand inked tag pinned inside at the collar.100% wool shawl collar, double breasted coat with a full rayon lining and belt. About a size 40. Measures 21 inches across pit to pit and 19 inches across the shoulders. Length is 33.75 inches and sleeves are 26.5 inches long. In very good wearable condition. Could use a cleaning for some subtle soiling. Also has several small moth nibbles. Nothing too bad though. A nice example of the early war coat. Shipped promptly. Questions welcome.
