Description: This genuine vintage Talavera pottery bowl from Uriarte studios in Puebla, Mexico, is a rare find signed by the maker. Handmade, this piece showcases the traditional Mexican craftsmanship and artistry of Talavera pottery. The intricate design and cultural significance make this bowl a unique collectible representing the rich heritage of Mexican pottery-making. Uriarte studio has a wonderful historic background in pottery making. The actual age of this bowl is unknown to me. Bowl has double handles. Outside of bowl is not decorated. The inside has a beautiful image of a woman surrounded by floral accents around inside walls of bowl. Has some paint chips around edge. Also has a few areas around bowl that look chipped but are not actually because they are smooth and glazed over. It does have a chip at the bottom above signature as pictured. It is the only chip that feels rough. Please refer to all pictures as they are an important part of description. Feel free to ask any questions. 8.5x3.5”
