Description: VINTAGE Westclox Big Ben Moon Beam Retro Yellow "Flashing Light" Alarm Clock. Model 43000. This is electric with battery back up available. It works perfectly and keep correct time. The alarm works great. This is a "no sound" alarm...the left side of the clock flashes a light as the alarm (see last picture). It is bright and works great. The little tab you push to get the battery cover off the battery bay is snapped off. You can use a screwdriver etc. to open it with ease should you choose to put batteries in it. This does not effect the function or the appearance of the clock in any way but rather just an inconvenience if you want to put batteries in. Unfortunately this little part of these frequently breaks off on vintage pieces. OTHERWISE, this clock is in amazingly great condition.
