Description: Warhammer 40k - Custom "Fallen" [Luther] Dark Angels - Painted - Kill Team This auction is for a painted custom built "Fallen" Dark Angels project. These miniatures are all made Games Workshop parts found in a number of kits. Condition is as pictured. Everything is painted in a sinister style that keeps a tabletop "pop" at a distance. This was a creative choice so I could keep a dark theme found in the artwork and rulebooks of Warhammer of old. This was a passion project to custom build a Luther and retinue as a display and playable Kill Team. I prefer the "true" scale of Warhammer 40,000 miniatures as opposed 30k so I used Primaris as the base of the project. Are the miniatures perfect? No. Are they badass as all hell? Yes. Are they unique and finished? Yes. If you are not aware. These are not "stock" poses. Each one is unique and required alot of bits and greenstuff. I have made this a very competitive, playable Kill Team with all the correct weaponry for those excited for gaming and the looming new edition. Kill Team's new edition has confirmed Space Marine inclusion and support in the chapter agnostic strike team - Angels of Death. You can find an in depth write up on Warhammer Community. The variety of Chapter Tactics are a real glow up for the Astartes and you'll be able to take rules that lean into close combat, shooting or adaptive strategy. The article specifically highlights the flexibility to change between combat doctrines and boost the effectiveness of specific weapons in specific moments. It is safe to say that this collection will continue to be a force to be reckoned with in the new edition, shining bright on the shelve between excursions.
