Description: 0 0 1 189 1082 Apple User 9 2 1269 14.0 Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE I've had a GE Induction Cooktop Model JP693 WHT (36" Model) in my home since 1997 and love the unit. The lower Right induction element on the cooktop began not to function. I changed the 36MB100A-ND Bridge Rectifier and 20A fuse and later the Toshiba IGBT (Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor) H20R1203. The cooktop element still did not function and the smart board display for the lower Right element continued to blink and beep. I was fortunate to acquire a complete new JP393 WHT (30" Model) in the factory sealed box. The complete module containing Right upper and lower induction elements was transplanted from the JP393 into the JP693 and we are now again, 'Good To Go'. The push connectors and screw terminal connections made the swap an easy task. The new left side module shown in the photos in the JP393 is now available for sale. This Left side module is used in General Electric Profile Induction cooktop models JP392 (BLK), JP393 (WHT), JP692 (BLK) & JP693 (WHT). If you're wondering if this Left side module would work on the Right side of your cooktop, contact GE service. Wire colors and lengths and a single black (Demo Mode) wire coming from the Right module to the smart display board may be the only differences. I believe the single black wire could be present to sense low-voltage in the home. Let's get Cooking!
