Description: I have for sale this beautiful soup tureen produced in Germany by VEB Porzellanwerk "Weimar Porzellan" from 1975 to present day. This footed tureen is in the Katharina shape and is heavily decorated with gold on the lids rim, the knob, the handles, and the bowls foot. Large and small gold floral sprays alternate on the body of the tureen and on the lid. The tureen measures 9 3/4 inches high to the top of the lid, 11 3/4 inches wide, and 14 inches from handle to handle. Both pieces are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or utensil marks. Other than the small rub on the lid (last photo) the gilding shows no signs of wear. A wonderful addition to your formal dining table. I will combine shipping for multiple purchases.
