I bought these for a physics lab, but they didn't exactly meet my classroom needs. They drive in a curved arc, not a straight line. When they bump into an obstacle, they turn, always in the same direction. They're not run by a spring, it sounds like a gyroscope is inside. This means you'll never overwind it, but it makes a terrific noise! I tried out one of the cars and found they didn't fit my needs, so they are all in new condition. Not for the classroom, but they will definitely make you smile! A great gift! This car is for collectors and children 13 years and up.
