This product is very dry and lightweight and is not like most sea moss that you have seen. This sea moss is authentic sun dried no salt added. A one pound bag by weight fills a gallon ziplock bag for comparison. Each bag will yield 2x as much as a 16oz bag of commercial sea moss. Place the sea moss in a covered glass jar/ container for 4-24 hours. Pour enough distilled or alkaline water to cover the sea moss initially, after an hour or more add up to an additional 3oz of water as it will absorb a lot of water. Drain and reserve the water. (Visit Youtube for many videos on the uses of the sea moss water) replace with boiling water and let sit covered for a few hours or overnight in the fridge. Drain and place sea moss into a strong blender and a little of the water from your sea moss blend thoroughly until a “gel” like consistency appears (add more water a little at a time if it is not enough to fully blend product) and continue blending until you get a smooth gel. I usually take a minimum of 1 Tablespoon per day. Add directly to shakes, food, soups and salads or any way you prefer.
