Description: Here I have for sale a stated First Modern Library Edition of William Styron's The Confessions of Nat Turner published by Modern Library in hardcover with dust jacket in 1970. The book is Fair to Good with significant edge wear to black boards as well as staining. Mildly faded gilt. Pages are unmarked and clean but there is separation at the title page that does not impact the integrity of book for reading. The dust jacket is Very Good with bright orange background and bold black text. There is moderate edge wear to top and bottom of spine and top and bottom of front and rear panels. A couple of creases and a few tiny chips. Some scuffing and crinkling to rear panel. It is not price-clipped and is protected in mylar. Priced far below Toledano guide. Thanks and see my other listings: Modern Library, Everyman's Library, Oxford World's Classics and Modern Firsts.
