This metal timing gear is a modern replacement for the older and original fiber timing gears. Don’t use an old fiber timing gear that will crack or break. These gears are accurately machined out of metal right here in the USA by Cloyes, one of the best know names in the engine parts supply business. Not a cheap import. Not made in China! Made in the USA. Yes. this metal camshaft timing gear is fully compatible with your L134 or F134 gear drive engine. We have been using these metal gears in our engine builds with very good results. Not noisy. Very reliable. The good part is that you can more easily remove these gears in the future if needed without damaging them which is nearly impossible with the old fiber timing gears.Not correct for the early chain drive engines.
