The Wurlitzer Lower Tone Arm and Bracket Assembly # 53747 is found on the 48 selection mechanism used in models 1250, 1400, 1450, 1600, 1650, 1600A and 1650A. I have noticed that even though they show the same part number in the parts catalogs, the 1250 piece is different than those used on the later models. The 1250 does not use the Lower Tone Arm Trip Plate # 54278 which is held on with two small screws on the rear side of the bracket. I believe they are interchangeable however and this added piece is an improvement. The Cobra cartridge socket appears to be OK but the wiring may need to be replaced. Also included are the Tone Arm Spring Washer # 53611, the Spacer # 53612 and the Retaining Ring # 73728-43 seen in the last photo below. These items are seen on page 10 of the model 1250 Parts Catalog and on page 12 of the model 1400 Parts Catalog.
