The cap is marked with a tag - it's a size 7 1/8 and is dated 2/27/1942. The hat has ultramarine and golden orange piping, indicating it would have been worn by an Army Air Corps enlisted man. These original USAAF garrison caps are difficult to find, so don't miss out on this one!!
