Description: Here's a vintage large Fighting Knife dating to WW2 and commonly called a Theater Knife. This one is a little different as I'm pretty sure it started out life as a 1930's Remington UMC RH-36 hunting knife. The blade was re-ground into a totally different shape with humpback clip point and thinner profile. Very well done with mirror finish and probably by a machinist. A larger steel finger guard was added. The handle looks like they re-shuffled Remington's many colorful spacers including Blue, Red, Black and Brass. Leather stacked handle was reshaped and slightly shortened. Retained the Remington big aluminum pomme. All tight and looking good. Sheath looks to be the original with a replaced keeper strap. A great knife. Guaranteed to please the new owner or I'll buy it back. Check my Feedback.
