Description: Very good condition original WWI US Model 1913 Patton cavalry saber. Maker marked “L.F.&C.” on the left ricasso and dated 1918 with a flaming bomb. Right ricasso is marked “U.S.” with a inspector stamp. Hilt has nice original black finish. Checkered plastic grips have a good tight fit and no damage. Blade shows some wear and pitting but overall very nice blade. Scabbard is good condition and has minor tear to canvas wrap. Some movement when sword in scabbard, but typical for age. A nice WWI Patton cavalry saber.
