Description: Antique original World War Two USAAF / USAAC B2 Shearling flight cap Sheepskin baseball style cap unfortunately this is in near relic condition The BILL / visor is excellent - But the rest of the hat is literally falling apart A scarce variation the center top piece was cut from a solid U shaped trim sheep skin - The later variants were made of spliced to together segments - the sheepskin body of the cap is extremely fragile , but the visor is A OK ! A perfect replacement , if you have an old B2 cap with a bad visor I’d hate to see this historic cap sacrificed in order to reuse the visor ( but you can do what ever you want , once you purchase it ) I didn’t see any manufacturer / makers tag - I’ve had this scarce hat on display , under glass for many years ,… Guaranteed 100% original USGI WW2 relic condition - It might fall apart if you look at it sideways ! What you see is what you get - this cap extremely fragile and is not wearable! It would look great along side a relic condition A2 jacket or WWII aircraft static display
