Description: This is an original as found used Korea / WWII US M43 Pile Cap. This cap has been demilled by the military. They pulled the seam apart on one side. It is a relatively easy fix. This is missing the date tag but this style pile cap was made late WWII up through around 1947. It has the late WWII style low cut pile style insulation on the ear flaps and bill. This is the real thing and in good condition for it's age. This is a size 7 and fits like one. It is just as I found it mixed in with 100's of others and will need to be reshaped. Excellent Original for a display or use. This is sold as is with no returns as it is a liquidation item.
