WWII Orig. US Army "V" Cigarette Case W/Green White Lucky Strikes W / Shadowbox

Description: Original Very Rare WWII U.S. Army "V" Victory Cigarette Holder W/Lucky Strike Green and White Packs WWII plastic cigarette crusher pack / holder. US Army Eagle and shield with "V" for Victory on front to keep packs from being crushed in shirt pockets or wherever the soldiers kept them. Original Green pack with Class A, DeWitt Clinton Tax Stamp. May be C-Ration pack? Font is earlier than what we're use to seeing. Cellophane opened on bottom as we received it in this condition. Folds back nicely into place. Small piece of Scotch Tape on cellophane to keep closed. Does not hinder the cellophane when removed slowly. Paper shows signs of yellowing from age with silver lined paper. Two scarce rare survivors completely sealed soft white packs . One with Blue Navy Sea Stores Tax Exempt seal and the other has Government Yellow and Red Free of Tax for U.S. Military or Naval forces seal. Both are in near mint condition with a bit of sinkage (sunk-in) on one side which is typical. Both complete with cellophane moisture-proof cover and red pull opener. These have the package "front" graphics on both front and back of the pack. Items display beautifully against Red matting in shadowbox which is included.
