John Patitucci is known worldwide for his super playing with a wide variety of musicality. The TRB has been customized for John with a 35-inch (889 mm) super long scale, 26 frets, and a specially tuned Active 5 control system. ■Super long scale 35-inch scale The scale has been increased from the previous model's 34 inches to 35 inches. John Patitucci requested improved pitch and a more taut sound in the bass range. To deal with the stress on the neck caused by the increased tension caused by the scale increase, a volute (※) has been added to the back of the head and a quilted maple veneer has been applied to improve the strength of the neck. ※Volute: A specification that adds thickness to the back of the head and neck base to increase strength ■Weight balance In consideration of the weight balance of the super long scale, lightweight resin pegs have been adopted. The string post has also been changed from the conventional brass to aluminum to reduce weight. ■26 frets With the scale-up, the number of frets has been changed from the conventional 24F to 26F.
