Description: I have come into a bunch of Zuni fetish carvings that I know very little about. But I'm absolutely fascinated and it's something I'd like to learn a lot more about. I'd like to learn about the artists and the stones and minerals used for the carvings as well as the meanings. I don't know what material this is made of. I feel like the answer is really simple and I'm just missing it but I don't want to make a claim and be wrong either. Hold him up to the light and you can see through him. Has a nice swath of stripes across the body that makes it really interesting. I can see why people collect these. They're so tactile to hold and so pretty to look at. I've had another ebayer tell me that the stone is "bowlerite"--literally from bowling balls. Find this fascinating! About 3/4 inch high 2 1/2 inches front to back and about 1 inch side to side.
